Frohes neues Jahr von der Baronin und dem Baron von Knight’s Crossing!
Zum Beginn des Jahres 2026 senden wir euch allen unsere herzlichsten Wünsche. Ob ihr gerade eine ruhige Pause genießt oder schon wieder im Alltag angekommen seid – wir hoffen, dass das neue Jahr euch Freude, Gesundheit und gute Gesellschaft bringt.
Wir freuen uns schon auf die kommenden Monate – auf viele schöne Veranstaltungen in der Baronie, und ganz besonders darauf, alte Freunde wiederzusehen und neue kennenzulernen. Wenn ihr jemanden kennt, der ein paar entspannte, fröhliche Stunden in guter Gesellschaft gebrauchen könnte, bringt sie oder ihn doch einfach mal mit. Es ist immer Platz für neue Gesichter, die mit uns die besondere Atmosphäre von Knight’s Crossing genießen möchten.
P.S.: In den vergangenen Monaten haben uns viele Geschenke erreicht – große und kleine, herzliche und großzügige – und jedes einzelne hat uns berührt. Das Bild, das wir für diesen Beitrag gewählt haben, ist ein schönes Beispiel dafür. Es ist eine sehr feine Stickerei, die uns von einer unserer großartigen Nachbarinnen geschenkt wurde: der talentierten Künstlerin Béatrice de Beaurieux aus Trivium (im weltlichen Leben: Belgien).
Wir lieben es nicht nur, weil es ein wunderschönes Werk ist (und uns ehrlich gesagt viel hübscher darstellt, als wir wirklich sind), sondern auch wegen dem, was es für uns symbolisiert. Es steht für eine der größten Stärken von Knight’s Crossing: die Freundschaften, die über Grenzen hinweg bestehen – und die unser Spiel so reich und freudvoll machen.

As 2026 begins, we send our warmest wishes to each of you. Whether you’re enjoying a peaceful break or already easing into the rhythm of the year, we hope it brings joy, health, and good company.
We’re excited for the coming months — for the many wonderful events ahead in the barony, and especially for the chance to spend time with old friends and meet new ones along the way. If there’s someone in your life who might enjoy a few hours of relaxed fun, good company, and a break from the everyday, do invite them along. There’s always room for more people to share in the joy and the atmosphere of Knight’s Crossing.
P.S.: Over the past months, we’ve been truly touched by the many gifts we’ve received — large and small, heartfelt and generous, each one meaningful in its own way. The image we’ve chosen for this post is a wonderful example of that kindness. It’s a very fine embroidery, given to us by one of our excellent neighbors: the talented artist Béatrice de Beaurieux of Trivium (mundanely, Belgium).
We love it not only because it’s a beautiful piece that makes us look far prettier than we really are, but also because of what it represents. For us, it’s a symbol of one of the great strengths of Knight’s Crossing — the friendships we share across our borders, which make this game so rich and so joyful.
